Foremost coalition for the success of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, the Delta PDP Coalition Support Group has felicitated with the amiable and performing governor, Rt Hon. Elder Sheriff Oborevwori on his one year impactful and sigmifant anniversary.
In a statement in Warri, the group coordinator, Sir High Chief Anthony Omamuzo Assay, KSM, JP, commended the giant and proactive steps being taken by the governor since assumption of office, noting that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has re-defined politics and development in a most profound way even to the admiration of his detractors.
According to the group, Governor Oborevwori as a divine mechanization of the Almighty, was able to survive 36 legal battles and defeat political giants who thought they could use their federal and judicial might to dislodge him, stating that Governor Oborevwori is an idea whose time has come.
"We are resolute and determined to stick with our leader through thick and thin and we believe this is just the beginning of development to the state. We are looking forward to more uncommon developmental projects across the length and breath of the state. We believe that with unity of purpose and determination, Governor Oborevwori will surpass his predecessor 's achievement and will place Delta State on a suitable growth trajectory as a leading state in the country.
"We are not unaware of the devices of the opposition, we believe Govermor Oborevwori's achievements will silence the 'noisy' opposition even as we march towards 2027. We urge Governor Oborevwori to be focus and determined to finish the race without losing focus. Our faith and determination in his ability to deliver has not wavered.ly "Through the 'More Agenda', Governor Oborevwori has been able to complete numerous projects while others are on-going. The iconic Effurun/Warri urban renewal undertaken by the construction behemoth-Julius Berger are only harbinger of better things to come and he has promised to spread development to all parts of the state. We know he will not play politics with development .
Indeed, the number of projects lined up for commissioning to mark the anniversary are clear evidence that Governor Oborevwori came prepared and will leave no one behind. We can only but wish him and his family sound health and wisdom to pilot the affairs of the state.
